Terms & Conditions + Returns & Refunds
Please read the following carefully. Your use of the WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk website and purchase of products (or services) from us means that you agree to these terms and conditions.
Shopping with WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk
You can order products in the following ways:
- Online via this website
- By telephoning 01202 934 084, between 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (GMT)
When you place an order for a product in any of the ways described above (“Order”), you are offering to buy it for the price stated, subject to these Terms.
When you place your Order online, we will send you an email to confirm that we have received it. This email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your Order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your Order. Once we have sent the confirmation email, we will then check availability and contact you with a further email. If the product is available and the details of the Order are correct, this email will be deemed an acceptance and will specify delivery details and confirm the price of the products purchased. If the product is not available, we will also let you know by email.
By placing an order, you agree the delivery address is a commercial/industrial address. Any orders with a residential delivery address may be subject to cancellation if an industrial address is not provided prior to placing your order or a surcharge is not agreed upon.
WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.
All new Orders are deemed separate and each is treated individually.
Price
The price for each product is shown on WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk and excludes VAT at 20%.
We always try to make sure that the prices on WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the products in your order, we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us with. We will then give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. (If we are unable to reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled). If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full.
You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically before you submit your credit card details, based on the delivery address you specify.
Prices are quoted on WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk in GBP – outside the United Kingdom your credit card company should exchange the amount charged to the currency of your country at the current rate, but you may use the WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk currency converter to estimate the price in your currency. Please note that the ‘currency converter’ is only a guide and may not accurately reflect current exchange rates. Please note that both charges and refunds are in GBP and WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any loss due to exchange rate fluctuations.
Customers are responsible for Import Duty/Tax in their respective countries. Unfortunately, we cannot advise you what these costs will be – please consult your local customs office for more information.
Payment
You must pay for your Order before it is delivered. You can do so by credit card, debit card, cheque, cash, or bank transfer.
Credit Card
Orders may be processed online, or by telephone, using a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express) or debit card (Visa and MasterCard debit cards only). We aim to debit money from your account within one working day after receiving your order.
To ensure that shopping online is secure, your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimize the possibility of someone being able to read them as they are sent over the Internet.
Your credit card company may also do security checks to confirm it is you making the order.
All order details and invoices will be sent to the credit card billing address and not the delivery address where the named recipient of the order differs.
Paypal or Bank Transfer
WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk accepts payment by Paypal or bank transfer from both United Kingdom and overseas customers.
To pay by Paypal or bank transfer, please contact us for payment instructions.
Availability
We try to keep WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk as up to date as possible but cannot guarantee that any particular product will always be available. If we cannot supply a product, you will not be charged for it and we will refund or re-credit your account with the amount debited by us.
All offers are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a product you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you the money you have paid for it.
An order may not be accepted for one of the following reasons:
- The product you ordered is out of stock.
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- There is an error in the technical side of the website, pricing (for product and shipping), promotion, or product description.
We reserve the right to limit the quantity of a particular item that a customer can purchase if deemed necessary. Additionally, we may suspend your account and any related accounts and contact you if we detect an unusual pattern of returns or other suspicious activity associated with your account or related accounts. If this occurs, you will receive an email notification.
If payment has been taken, a refund will be issued. Please note that it may take up to 5 days for the bank to process the refund.
We may offer you the option to proceed with your purchase at the corrected price.
Bespoke Goods
Orders for bespoke goods cannot be cancelled or changed in any way once work has commenced on producing them.
The Supplier will not take responsibility for Purchaser generated mistakes, (errors or defects including spelling, typographical or grammar errors; order quantity, or other ordering errors.
Faulty goods will be remedied by rectification only. The Supplier will not offer a refund or a replacement for Bespoke Goods. Any problems with any part of a bespoke order must be reported to us within two Business Days of receipt of the order. Failure to notify us within this time frame will result in the customer accepting the goods.
Tolerances of plus or minus 5% on the Supplier’s Bespoke Goods are applicable where cutting is involved (e.g. matting products).
Delivery
WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk delivers to most international destinations.
You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically before you submit your credit card details, alternatively for NON UK customers, please contact us for an up-to-date shipping rate and delivery time.
If your order is made online but you do not pay by credit card, or if you order in any other way, please contact us for details of the delivery charges prior to ordering.
WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk aims to deliver products within 1-5 working days (assuming availability for the product ordered) in the UK and 2-14 working days outside the UK in most circumstances.
International orders are dispatched either by international airmail or international courier service. If sending by courier, the courier may require a signature, therefore please specify an address where someone will be able to sign for your products.
We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
If the products are not delivered within the estimated delivery time which we quote, please contact us by telephone or email and we will try and ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible, or if you wish, you may cancel your order and we will refund the money you have paid providing the order has not passed the processing stage of the order process. Please note that while items sent by international airmail usually arrive within 2-14 working days, some parcels may take longer to be delivered.
Please order from WorkshopWorkbench.co.uk with enough lead-time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from the delivery time, as we cannot be responsible for this.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. For business-to-business transactions, the statutory rights are expressly excluded.
The order must be thoroughly checked upon receipt of delivery in the presence of the delivery driver to check for damages. Please unwrap the packaging to inspect the order.
In the event that there is damage to the order, you must notify the driver immediately and state on the driver’s paperwork/delivery note clearly as ‘damaged order on delivery, when inspected in the presence of the driver’. You must notify us immediately in the presence of the driver of the damage by calling tel: 01202 934 084.
In the event that the order is not inspected and not stated as damaged on receipt of the delivery, we will not be able to offer any return or refund of the order. This must be strictly adhered to.
Cancellation & Returns
When purchasing goods or services online, you have a statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods. This is referred to as a ‘cooling off period.’
If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us in writing by email or post.
You must return the products to us in the same condition in which you received them and at your own cost and risk. It is your responsibility to ensure that the products are received by us and are not damaged in transit. We recommend you use a secure method of delivery, which requires a signature upon receipt.
Once we have received the products and are satisfied that they are in resalable condition, we will refund you within 14 days for the products’ cost, excluding delivery charges. If you have requested a replacement or an exchange, any difference in cost will be charged or refunded accordingly.
If you fail to return the products in resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the refund or deduct a reasonable amount from the refund for any loss in value.
We do not accept cancellations or returns for bespoke or custom-made goods once production has commenced.
If the products are faulty or not as described, please notify us immediately and we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We collect information about you to process your order and provide you with the best possible service.
The information we collect includes:

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies, we will delete or correct them promptly.
